Welcome to fonEval 
foneval is the first system to put advanced customer phone survey techniques
into the hands of marketing professionals without high IT costs and the repeated
hassles of sitting down with IVR coding professionals to change a single 
question in a survey. 
foneval is also the first fully MVC (model/view/controller) compliant customer 
phone survey system made available via the internet.  MVC requires java servlet,
the most secure method of serving up security sensitive information, in that 
pages presented in the customer browser NEVER contain information or clues to 
information that can lead to security breaches.  Web coders will immediately 
recognize what an accomplishment this is because VXML IVR technology (the phone 
browser) does not specifically support java server pages (JSP). We had to 
figure out what combinations of things were and weren't supported when a servlet
interfaces with a phone! 
foneval additionally uses secure socket layer technology with 2048 character 
key encryption.

Directions for using foneval:
In your PC browser, go to www.foneval.com and choose "Register" to set up a user
account.  The phone number you enter in the account, should be your cell phone 
number.  This is the number that will be used to call you to test your surveys. 
Once you are registered, log in and choose "Work on your survey(s)" to create a 
survey or edit an existing survey.  Once you are satisfied with you survey, 
choose "Test Survey" to have the survey system call your cell and test your 
survey.  If the text to speech rendering of a question is not easy to understand
or hear, consider re-wording you question to make it clear. Once your survey is 
tested and you are happy to present it to customers, you have 2 choices: 1) if 
your survey will generate over 10 calls per half hour, contact the administrator
at jal@foneval.com, and the admin will secure a separate paid phone number for 
your survey (this cost is part of your monthly fee and will be disclosed to you 
before setup is completed. The cost of a line is in the neighborhood of 
$150/month depending on line parameters.  2) if your survey will generate low 
traffic you can use foneval's shared lines. Choose "What is the passcode for my 
Survey?" to have the system give you the passcode that must be provided by your 
phone system enunciator once it connects to the survey. So, your customer calls 
in, your ACD connects them to the contact center, or desired party, before doing
so, the survey is offered by your enunciator or your IVR system, once the 
initial leg of the call is terminated by the called party, the ACD takes the 
call back, connects to the survey, provides the survey passcode once the final 
leg is established to the vxml browser, and the customer survey begins.

Processing rules for foneval:
1) no quotes (") or apostrophes ( ') are allowed in questions, just leave them 
   off and speech to text still sounds the way it should.  
2) for tests or surveys hosted on foneval's home page cid contains dnis
3) on survey reports score is cumulative
4) surveys may have 15 questions max; it is not good to have more than 10 
   questions in phone survey, because survey completion occurs less often.
5) A sample question is provided for each new survey. Follow sample question: 1 
   is low score; 5 is high, no yes or no answers; you can always find a way to 
   put a yes or no answer  into 1 to 5 type format.  When all answers have same 
   scoring, scoring is infinitely more accurate.
6) be careful that 5 is the high score in the context of your question.  
   Example:  "With 1 being very low and five being very high, how would rate 
   rate the service on this call?"  (5 is truly a high score.) Now consider: 
   "With 1 being very low and 5 being very high how would you rate your 
   frustration on this call?" (5 is actually a low score in this contest.) 
   Change to: With 1 being very low and five being very high how would you rate 
   your satisfaction with this call? This is consistent with the ranking of the 
   first question.
7) Service redemption feature: on a cumulative bad score that is lower than the 
   survey threshold, an automatic email goes out to the user admin with the cid 
   of call, so that customer can be called back immediately to attempt 
   redemption.
8) Test of surveys do no show up in survey analysis. So , there will be no 
   report content until a customer takes a survey via hosted  participation or 
   phone connect to the survey number.
